On Saturday, 01 March 2014 Wake and District will join forces with the nOg Run Club for an attempt at breaking the WORLD RECORD KILT RUN.
Ok, it’s only 2 blocks — but it is a WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT.
Join Seamus the Leprechaun King at Moore Square in downtown Raleigh starting at noon for a day full of shenanigans (starting at noon).

Kilt Requirements: Plaid knee length (or close to it) garment that buckles onthe side. If your kilt does not have a buckle, a belt may be worn. Need to purchase a kilt? These kilts do not have buckles and must be worn with a belt. Runners in kilts will do a short run around Moore Square at 2 pm. The 8K race will take place at 3 pm.
