Thank you to all the band members who came out to play the NCFFF memorial march this morning; 12 pipers, 4 sides, 3 tenors, 1 bass and 1 Drum Major. Jason Lane did an stupendous job of leading the band. Pat McArdle and his co-worker from the Fayetteville Honor guard joined us on the march in their Fayetteville honor guard uniforms – and they were honored to be a part of our ranks.

The Atlantic Beach Emerald Society Pipe Band joined the march this year (for the first time) and also served as the duty band for the memorial service held after the parade. We shared some camaraderie with them then night before the march and and because of a respect for the mission of honoring our fallen have new friends. We hope they can join us at our our Tartan Ball in November.
