It is with a heavy heart we bid farewell to piper Sean O’Neill. Sean has been a member of our band since 2009 – we watched him grow up from a big-haired brazened teenager into a strong young man — who is now putting his studies first and foremost (as it should be). Sean came into the band after private lessons with Pipe Sergeant John Schodtler and quickly became a cornerstone within our ranks. Throughout 2012 he served as the Pipe Major of our G5 competition group where the band finished 8th out of 103 bands.
You were always there for us Sean – doing the right things for the right reasons. Wherever life takes you, we will always be here for you. It’s not goodbye…it’s until we meet again.
How about on 10 January 2015 we buy you a pint?
