Band members are hitting the road this Memorial Day weekend to attend Gallabrae – presented by the Greenville Scottis Games.  GALLABRAE is a mash-up of two Gallic terms, meaning “ bold and daring” plus “beautiful highlands’.

One thing we love about these games is they’re dedicated to the men and women of the armed forces of the United States and Scotland.  Both the parade on Friday, May 23rd and the Games on Saturday, May 24th celebrate these warriors and their service with the Royal Highland Fusiliers, Second Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland serving as our Guard of Honor!   On this Memorial Day weekend the games help thank those who have offered their lives to protect our freedoms.

We are looking forward to being back at these games since our last visit in 2010 – and look forward to a fierce field of competition for both our G5 and G4 programs.

Safe travels to all those heading to Greenville where preparation meets opportunity on the field.
