A long-standing fixture in the Johnston County EMS system, David Eatman, passed away on 29 January 2013. His EMS roots in Johnston County, as an EMS instructor and also as a State evaluator go back as far as the 1970’s; even to one of the first EMT courses taught in the state of North Carolina. David was the Chief of Selma EMS for 13 years and has a long history with JAS. On behalf of the members of the Wake & District Public Safety Pipes and Drums – we extend our condolences to David’s family, friends and all those public safety officers who worked with David over the years.
Funeral services for David Eatman will be conducted at 11a.m on Friday February 1st in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Selma Memorial Gardens.
