On Saturday, September 26, 2009 band members shined their shoes and polished their pipes and drums for a photo-shoot. The morning started at the North Carolina Governor’s Mansion, traveled to the Wake County Public Safety Center and ended at the Raleigh Convention Center in the shadow of Sir Walter Raleigh (who tried to play the pipes). A special thanks to Véronique McMillan and Lee Wilson for sharing their time and talent in taking the photos – and thank you to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, Raleigh Police and Wake County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in facilitating a trouble free photo session. It was nice to see almost the entire band present for the photos and we’re very happy some of our newest members were able to participate.
