Home / Band News / 3rd time will be the “lucky” charm

We didn’t break the record, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have FUN.  Shenanigans were amok  all day long at what was indeed a BRILLIANT day surrounded by family, friends and fans.  Wake and District is so grateful to stand with the nOg Run Club and support their Run Greek 8k initiative and the second attempt to bring the World Record Kilted Run to Raleigh.   Thank you to Sgt. Mike of the Nach Army and the Duke of Perth for helping free Seamus the Leprechaun King.  We now believe his abduction was a rouse aimed at the Celtic Cultures of North America from the Scots and Australians who are also attempting to break record.

It wasn’t over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor; the 3rd time will be the “lucky” charm.  Keep your kilts, tell your friends, see you next year.

Now that St. Practice Day is behind us – it’s time to gear up for the Chieftains Concert on 02 March, the Carolina Hurricanes Game on the 11th, ant the Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the 15th.  See you soon!  #40shadesofgreen
